NVC-L (Vertical CLAMPs)
[Applications]
- These devices are CLAMPs for vertically lifting iron plates and various iron structures.
[Features]
- The safety-lever-type locking system makes it easy to use the CLAMPs and to remove them after finishing the iron plate works.
- These devices have a safety locking system (safety lever). Even when a wire rope becomes loose while you are working, the CLAMPs will prevent the objects you are working with from moving by exerting a CLAMPing force when the springs begin to move.
- When lifting the shackles after releasing the safety lever, the links will be disabled to allow you to easily grasp and release the objects.
- If the CLAMPs are at a high place, you can connect a rope to the safety levers and then remove them easily.
[How to Use the Products]
- Insert an iron plate into the opening zone of a CLAMP and then close the safety lever.
- Mount the CLAMP on the center of the mass so that the gross weight will not be localized or displaced from the center.
[Precautions]
- Comply with the dimensions stated in the CLAMPs.
- Lift objects only within the range of the jaw opening stated in the CLAMPs.
- The safety levers are attached to the exterior part of the CLAMPs. Make sure that the levers will not collide with other objects in narrow workplaces.
- Do not lift more than one object with a CLAMP.
- Before lifting objects, check the grasp points and the conditions of the objects to be lifted, as well as whether the safety locking system of the CLAMPs is functioning properly.
- When lifting objects, the signalman must not be within the range in which the objects that are being lifted are rotating. The signalman must then send instruction signals to the crane driver.
