 Model Number NVC-LMS

NVC-LMS (Turnover CLAMPs for beveling)

[Application]

  • These devices are lifting CLAMPs for turning over large iron plates and structures with large opening angle.
  • These devices are efficient CLAMPs for lifting objects that have long bevel plates of V or X for special works.

[Features]

  • These are special CLAMPs for beveling that are light and easy to use (safety factor 3), the length of their bottom is long (see Fig. "E", "F"), and the number of bottom jaws are two.
  • The safety-lever-type locking system makes it easy to use the CLAMPs and to remove them after finishing the iron plate works.
  • When lifting the shackle after releasing the safety lever, the links will be disabled to allow you to easily grasp and release the objects.
  • These devices have a safety locking system. Even when a wire rope becomes loose while you are working, the CLAMPs will prevent the objects you are working with from moving by exerting a CLAMPing force when the springs begin to move.

[How to Use the Product]

  • Insert the bevel region of object into the opening zone of a cam and the #2 jaw and then close the safety lever.
  • Mount the CLAMP on the center of mass so that the gross weight will not be localized or displaced from the center.

[Precaution]

  • These devices have the safety factor of 3. Be sure to comply with the dimensions stated in the CLAMPs.
  • Lift objects only within the range of the jaw opening stated in the CLAMPs.
  • Do not lift objects whose opening parts are out of the cam and the #2 jaw.
  • Do not lift more than one object with a CLAMP.
  • Before lifting objects, check the grasp points and the conditions of the objects to be lifted, as well as whether the safety locking system of the CLAMPs is functioning properly.
  • When lifting objects, the signalman must not be within the range in which the objects that are being lifted are rotating. The signalman must then send instruction signals to the crane driver.
